Job summary

Texas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the GI Lab team in Flower Mound for a full-time, day-shift role with on-call requirements. You will provide safe patient care and respond to priorities in safety, comfort and emotional support during health and illness.

The ideal candidate holds a Nursing Diploma or higher, with 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN residency. GI endoscopy experience is preferred; BCLS and ACLS are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required or higher as noted in the posting.
• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
• 1 year endo/GI experience preferred.
• RN – Registered Nurse on hire required and BCLS prior to providing patient care and maintained quarterly required.
• ACLS required within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient priorities regarding safety and physical/psychological needs while maintaining comfort and humane care during health and illness.
