Job summary

The Toledo Clinic Gastroenterology Department on Woodley Rd in Toledo, OH is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to support the front desk in a busy medical office. Hours are Monday-Thursday (9:00-6:00) and Friday (8:00-5:00).

Prior medical office phone and scheduling experience is preferred. Responsibilities include answering phones, verifying referrals and/or pre-certifications, updating insurance information, and assisting patients with questions while coordinating messages with staff.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.
• Strong phone and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones courteously and professionally.
