Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Charge RN/MA in Paramus to perform direct clinical duties under physician supervision, including patient intake, blood draws, EKGs, and related tests. Accurate EMR documentation and adherence to policy are required to maintain high-quality care.

Preferred candidates hold NJ-recognized MA certification (CMA/RMA) and BCLS certification; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a formal Medical Assistant program recognized by the State of New Jersey.
• Current MA certification (CMA/RMA) recognized by state boards is required.
• Basic life support (BCLS) certification preferred or will be required.

Responsibilities

• Under physician direction, performs direct clinical activities including patient intake, blood draw, EKG and tests ordered by the physician.
• Documents accurately in the EMR system in compliance with licensure and VMG policies.
• Maintains effective workflow and collaboration with practice staff to support high-quality care.
