Job summary

Valley Health System in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Charge RN or Manager-led Medical Assistant capable of handling patient intake, blood draws, EKGs and related tests under physician direction. You will document in EMR and help maintain efficient clinic workflow with staff collaboration.

The role requires a formal Medical Assistant program, a current CMA/RMA certification, and a state board recognition. BCLS is preferred and rotation to VMG sites may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with formal Medical Assistant program completed.
• Current CMA or RMA certification recognized by a state board.
• BCLS certification preferred; will be required upon hire.
• Ability to document accurately in EMR and support clinic workflow.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, blood draws, EKGs and tests as directed.
• Document accurately in EMR in compliance with licensure and policy.
• Coordinate with staff to maintain proper clinic workflow and care.
• Rotate to VMG locations as needed to support coverage.
