Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CMA certification preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required or must be obtained within 90 days.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• GI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs, history, medications, and allergies.
• Coordinate patient care under the provider's direction and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Assist with physical examinations and administer medications as ordered.
• Perform triage, answer phones, and handle referrals and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and process prescriptions.
