TAG MedStaffing is seeking a Gastroenterologist for Staten Island, NY, hospital and ambulatory practice. The role covers general GI consultations, endoscopy/colonoscopy, cancer screening, and management of GI diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate is fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology with NY licensure or eligibility, and at least 1 year of GI experience including inpatient/outpatient procedures. In-office duties and rotating call are included.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school with Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Active or eligible New York State physician licensure.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• 1+ year gastroenterology experience preferred, including inpatient & outpatient care and GI procedures.
• Strong knowledge of general gastroenterology, GI disease management, endoscopy & inpatient/outpatient GI care.
• Excellent clinical judgment, procedural skills, communication and collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Gastroenterology care: diagnose and manage GI conditions.
• GI procedures: perform endoscopy, colonoscopy, cancer screening.
• Inpatient care: provide GI consultations for hospitalized patients.
• Outpatient care: evaluate and treat ambulatory patients with tailored plans.
• Call coverage: participate in shared call requirements.
• Clinical collaboration: coordinate with physicians, nursing, and other teams.
