Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is inviting a Gastroenterologist to join NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in Brooklyn. The role includes supervising fellows and the medical team, providing inpatient or outpatient GI care, and participating in a 1-in-8 on-call schedule.

Academic appointment with SUNY Downstate is available. Base salaries start at $361,000 (Board Eligible) and $371,000 (Board Certified), with total compensation estimates up to $461,520.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in NY State
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Experience supervising GI fellows and trainees

Responsibilities

• Supervise or perform endoscopic procedures in a state-of-the-art GI suite.
• Provide inpatient and/or outpatient GI care with academic appointment at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
• Supervise GI fellows, medical students and residents; develop treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Participate in on-call coverage including evenings/weekends on a 1-in-8 schedule.
