Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County seeks an Advanced Endoscopist to join PAGNY. The physician will provide inpatient and outpatient GI care, lead advanced endoscopy services, supervise trainees, and participate in on-call coverage. SUNY Downstate affiliation supports academic practice.

The candidate must be NY licensed with Board Certification/Eligibility in Gastroenterology and a medical degree from an approved school. A strong commitment to patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• Current licensed NY State registration or ability to obtain one.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Graduate from approved Medical School.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient GI care.
• Participate in advanced endoscopy consultation service.
• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including EUS, ERCP, and others.
• Supervise and mentor gastroenterology fellows and residents.
• Provide weekend and evening call coverage for gastroenterology services.
