Job summary

TAG MedStaffing is seeking a Gastroenterologist in Hudson County, NJ for our client, supporting inpatient, outpatient, and endoscopic gastroenterology services across a healthcare network. This role will diagnose and manage gastrointestinal and hepatology conditions, perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, and provide hospital-based consultation coverage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with an Accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Active or eligible New Jersey medical licensure is required.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Experience in gastroenterology care and performing endoscopic procedures.
• Strong knowledge of GI conditions, diagnostic evaluation, and endoscopic care.
• Proficiency with endoscopic procedures and EHR systems.
• Strong clinical judgment, procedural expertise, communication, collaboration, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat GI and related digestive health conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with follow-up care.
• Provide gastroenterology coverage and respond to urgent needs.
