Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC seeks a board-certified gastroenterologist to join our Tyler, Texas program. The role includes performing scheduled colonoscopies Monday through Friday, conducting inpatient consultations from the prior night, and providing follow-up procedures in the GI lab as needed.

You will provide GI coverage during provider vacations or scheduling conflicts and collaborate with midlevel providers for pre- and post-procedure workups, managing complex GI patients in both clinic

Qualifications

• Board certified (BC) in GI or eligible
• Licensed to practice in Texas (TX)
• Fellowship in Gastroenterology required
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, ABLS certifications included

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled colonoscopies on a Mon-Fri schedule.
• Conduct inpatient consultations from the prior night and provide follow-up procedures in the GI lab as needed.
• Provide GI coverage during periods of provider vacation, CME, or scheduling conflicts.
• Collaborate with midlevel providers (NPs and PAs) for pre- & post-procedure patient workups.
• Manage complex GI patients in both clinic and GI lab settings, including endoscopic procedures.
