GLOBAL MEDICAL STAFFING is seeking a locum gastroenterologist for a 7-day assignment in Tyler, TX. The role includes inpatient and outpatient rounds, with 4–6 beeper calls per shift and a fast-paced GI service line.

The assignment covers colonoscopy scheduling, ERCP/EGD/PEG/EUS, and liver biopsy, with pre-paid travel and housing, malpractice coverage, and licensing assistance. This position suits physicians seeking flexible travel work.

Responsabilidades

• Monday – Friday schedule with beeper call at a 4 – 6 ratio
• 5 – 7 patients per shift
• Inpatient and outpatient rounding — complex GI patients
• Scheduled colonoscopies followed by inpatient consults
• Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, PEG, EUS, and liver biopsy required
• Esophageal dilatation, manometry, and small bowel biopsy required
• Lower GI endoscopy and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management required
• Leave coverage — 7-day assignment
