Job summary

SMG System Medical Group seeks a Gastroenterologist to practice at the primary location: Colliers Way Professional Plaza, 701 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV. The successful candidate will join a growing GI/Hepatology service line with access to state‑of‑the‑art endoscopy suites and close collaboration with hepatology colleagues.

The position requires an MD or DO, completion of internal medicine residency and GI fellowship, and board eligibility or certification.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Board eligibility or board certification in gastroenterology and hepatology.
• Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI clinical care at primary location and affiliated sites as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex GI and hepatology cases.
• Participate in endoscopy services and access to advanced procedures including ERCPs.
