Job summary

The WVU Health System is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our GI and Hepatology service in Colliers Way Professional Plaza, Weirton, WV. The successful candidate will provide expert care across diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures and ERCPs in a state‑of‑the‑art setting.

Applicants must have an MD or DO, be eligible for a WV medical license, and complete an accredited internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship. Board eligibility or certification is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligible for state medical license
• Completed accredited internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship
• Board eligible or board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology

Responsibilities

• Provide GI and hepatology diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Work in a new endoscopy center with state-of-the-art suites including ERCPs
• Collaborate with WVU Medicine hospitals and clinics to deliver comprehensive patient care
