Job summary

SMG System Medical Group seeks a Gastroenterologist to join our GI/Hepatology service line at the Colliers Way Professional Plaza in Weirton, WV. You will contribute to a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within a diverse patient population.

The successful candidate will hold an MD or DO, complete gastroenterology training, and be eligible for a state medical license. Board certification/eligibility in gastroenterology is required at appointment, with potential

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligible for state medical license
• Completed an accredited internal medicine residency program and gastroenterology fellowship
• Board eligible/board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology
• All qualifications must be met by time of appointment

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology services at the primary location: Colliers Way Professional Plaza, 701 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV
• Offer diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures as part of GI/Hepatology service line
• Collaborate with a multi-site West Virginia University Health System team across campuses and affiliated centers
• Travel to additional worksites in WV, MD, and PA as operational needs require
