Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Gastro/Endo – Procedure to support the Digestive Health Center. 100% FTE, eight-hour day shifts between 7:00am and 9:00am, with no weekends or on-call duties.

You will triage patients, prepare procedures, provide intra-procedure care and assist in post-procedure recovery, collaborating within a multidisciplinary care plan. UW Health offers strong benefits, acuity-based staffing for safety, a shared governance structure, flexible

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience required.
Specific to EP Lab - previous moderate sedation experience required.
Additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience preferred.
Prior involvement in clinical procedures in area of specialty, including hospital-wide project work preferred.
Experience in an academic medical setting preferred.
Specific to Gastro/Endo & Generations - previous moderate sedation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide care, including patient triage, procedure preparation, intra-procedure care, and post-procedure recovery phases.
Be an active member of the multidisciplinary team and collaborate in the development, execution, and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care or critical pathway.
