Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Gastro/Endo – Procedure to support the Digestive Health Center. 100% FTE, eight-hour day shifts between 7:00am and 9:00am, with no weekends or on-call duties.

You will triage patients, prepare procedures, provide intra-procedure care and assist in post-procedure recovery, collaborating within a multidisciplinary care plan. UW Health offers strong benefits, acuity-based staffing for safety, a shared governance structure, flexible

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience required.
• Specific to EP Lab - previous moderate sedation experience required.
• Additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Prior involvement in clinical procedures in area of specialty, including hospital-wide project work preferred.
• Experience in an academic medical setting preferred.
• Specific to Gastro/Endo & Generations - previous moderate sedation experience preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months Required
• Certification in area of specialty Preferred
