Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Gastro/Endo procedure team in the Digestive Health Center. This 100% FTE position features 8-hour day shifts with start times between 7:00am and 9:00am, no weekends, holidays or on-call responsibilities.

You will provide care across triage, procedure prep, intra-procedure and post-procedure recovery, collaborate on multidisciplinary care plans, and contribute to nursing excellence within an academically affiliated health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience required.
• EP Lab—previous moderate sedation experience required; additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across patient triage, procedure preparation, intra-procedure care, and post-procedure recovery phases.

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months Required
• Certification in area of specialty Preferred
