Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Charlton, MA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant II for the Gastroenterology clinic. You will provide clinical support, perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and POC testing while maintaining chart accuracy and coordinating with the medical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA credential required by MA state guidelines (e.g., ARMA, NHA).

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vitals.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and POC tests per standards.
• Administer non-intravenous injections as directed.
• Assist with routine physical exams and lab result reviews.
• Maintain patient charts and assist with appointments and referrals.
