Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring a Medical Assistant II for Trolley Crossing PC in Charlton, MA. The role supports clinical and clerical tasks under licensed clinicians, including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and patient progress documentation.

Requires High School diploma, MA credential within 1 year, and current BLS/HS certification. A $3000 sign-on bonus is available; 40 hours per week, day shift, on-site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Heart Saver (HS) certification.
• Medical Assistant credential approved by MA Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and record vital signs.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy and Point of Care tests.
• May administer non-intravenous injections within scope of practice.
• Assist in routine physical examinations and interpret lab results.
