Job summary

Utility Pipeline Ltd. (Eastern Natural Gas) is seeking a Gas Utility Technician to operate across Trumbull County and nearby areas in Northeast Ohio. You will report daily to the Kinsman, OH office and live within 30 minutes to respond to emergencies.

Experience in natural gas distribution, construction, or plumbing is a plus. This is a full-time position with benefits. Responsibilities include responding to work orders, leak surveys, meter installations, and supervision of sub-contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred but not required.
• Valid and clean driver’s license; Class A CDL a plus but not required.
• Willing to pass drug and alcohol tests (pre-employment and random) and complete online training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to various work orders.
• Leak surveys, inspections, and compliance-related tasks.
• Annual maintenance of pipelines and facilities.
• Install and remove meters and read meters; install ERTs.
• Install pipelines, taps, and customer service lines.
• Oversee and inspect sub-contractors on assigned projects.
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment; complete daily paperwork.
• On-call rotation/emergency call outs.
