Job summary

A natural gas distribution management company is seeking a Natural Gas Field Technician in the Mount Vernon, OH area. This role offers diverse daily tasks including maintenance and inspections of pipelines, with a requirement for a high school diploma and a clean driver's license. Experience is preferred but not mandatory. Benefits include a company-matched 401K, health insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience preferred but not required.
• Valid and clean driver’s license.
• Willing and able to pass a drug and alcohol test (pre-employment and random).
• Willing to complete required online training and pipeline safety training programs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to various work orders.
• Conduct leak surveys, inspections, and compliance-related tasks.
• Perform annual maintenance of pipelines and facilities.
• Install and remove meters.
• Read meters and install ERTs.
• Install pipelines, taps, and services.
• Oversee and inspect sub-contractors on assigned projects.
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment.
• Complete necessary paperwork for daily tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotation/emergency call outs.
