UGI Utilities, Inc in Harrisburg, PA seeks a Manager of Operations to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the distribution system in their territory. You will lead a team, implement safety and reliability initiatives, and align work with company policies.

The role focuses on budgeting, performance management, and collaboration across departments to achieve safety, efficiency, and service goals for our 750,000 customers.

Competenze

• High School diploma required.
• 5 years of progressive experience in the natural gas industry.
• Professional Certificates in relevant fields considered.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.

Mansioni

• Assist in establishing the area operating budget for utility operations and manage area performance to meet the budget.
• Manage area maintenance capital budget to ensure effective use of dollars while maintaining the integrity of the distribution system.
• Assist in measuring and prioritizing area marketing and operating goals consistent with area KPI objectives.
• Provide area leadership to encourage interdepartmental communication and cooperation in support of company objectives.
• Develop a strong supervisory team and promote growth and development among operating section employees.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned (e.g., SME for Standards, PSMS, cross-functional groups).
