Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking a Gas Skilled Laborer/Groundman in Franktown, Colorado to support the installation and repair of gas lines. The role supports the Line team and collaborates with crew members on site to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of gas utility construction experience. Pay rate ranges from $32 to $38 per hour, with standard benefits and no per diem or housing provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of Gas Utility construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather materials for the job that day and ensure the crew has everything needed.
• Distribute material at the job site and hand locate utilities.
• Safely operate equipment used in gas line installation and repair.
• Assist with site work including landscape grading and material handling.
• Support the Line team and other crew members as required.
