Job summary
Apex Utilities Inc. is seeking a Technician, Construction & Maintenance for the St. Paul district. The role involves installing gas piping, repairing leaks, and supporting regulation stations and metering facilities in a unionized environment.
Applicants should have a high school diploma, at least one year in construction and a valid Alberta driver’s license with the appropriate class and a clean abstract. The position is on-site with competitive compensation and benefits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year in a construction related job.
- Valid Alberta Driver’s license with appropriate class and a clean driving abstract.
Responsibilities
- Installing gas piping systems and performing related duties.
- Repairing leaks and damages on buried and above ground pipelines and facilities.
- Assisting in the installation, construction, maintenance and operation work on regulating stations and metering facilities.
- Operate construction and heavy work equipment.
- Staking projects and coordinating with contractors and customer; and
- Performing annual maintenance and leak survey program
