Peak Utility Infrastructure seeks a Gas Meter Tech to support meter work for construction crews. You will install piping, perform leak detection, and ensure compliant, safe operations on-site at customer locations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and timely decision-making in a physically demanding environment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in residential plumbing or related fields and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of residential plumbing, pipe fitting and repair experience.
• 2-3 years of service plumbing experience preferred.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute on a year-to-year basis.
• Experience with underground utilities is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Installs gas regulators, piping and pipe fitting work with iron pipe.
• Reads and keeps accurate daily work logs and installation records.
• Cleans and arranges worksites to minimize hazards.
• Monitors tools and equipment for proper use and upkeep.
• Plans layouts and installations per specifications.
• Shuts off gas via valve keys or wrenches when approved.
