Cordoba is seeking experienced Designers to join our Energy-Gas sector in California. You will develop gas pipeline designs, construction drawings, and design packages for distribution and transmission systems using Autodesk tools.

The role requires field work, coordination with engineers and stakeholders, and delivering secure, compliant infrastructure. The Designer will mentor junior staff, support project execution from concept to construction, and ensure adherence to industry standards and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant gas utility pipeline design experience, or 3 years of relevant gas utility pipeline design experience with an Associate degree
• High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred
• Experience preparing Gas utility design and construction drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD, Plant3D, or similar CAD software

Responsabilités

• Develop gas pipeline designs, alignments, layouts, and construction drawings using Autodesk software and other applicable design tools.
• Prepare design packages including plan and profile drawings, construction details, permit exhibits, material lists, and supporting project documentation.
• Perform field investigations and site visits to gather information necessary for design development, constructability evaluations, and routing assessments.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, surveyors, utility representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure design requirements are incorporated into project deliverables.
• Review and interpret engineering documents, utility standards, maps, records, and technical specifications to support design development.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts, constructability concerns, and utility coordination issues throughout the project lifecycle.
