Cordoba Corporation is seeking a Designer to join our Energy-Electric team in California. You will design and analyze overhead and underground electric utility lines, contributing to reliable power infrastructure and project success.

The Designer will review designs, perform calculations, and support junior staff. Remote work options are available with CA travel up to 20% across Pleasanton, Bakersfield, or San Diego locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3+ years in electric utility design for overhead/underground projects.
• Experience with calculating voltage drop and flicker.
• Proficiency with O-Calc and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Produce/review overhead and underground distribution design packages.
• Prepare drawings, materials inventory, voltage drop calculations, and permitting releases.
• Apply industry standards and review designs for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide technical support to junior designers and communicate design deficiencies clearly.
• Ensure compliance with company and client standards.
