Job summary

Magnolia River is seeking an engineer to model, design, draft, and perform field work across natural gas distribution and transmission projects. You will contribute to every phase of the project lifecycle while delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions in the utilities sector.

The role offers growth opportunities in a collaborative environment, with responsibilities ranging from design and drafting to field verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
• Natural gas pipeline or utility experience preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred.
• Internship with Magnolia River preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret data from design locates and field work.
• Produce basic P&ID and layouts.
• Understand permit process and HDD basics.
• Manage scope, schedule, and cost with stakeholders.
• Prepare plans, reports, and procedures.
• Travel to field locations as needed.
• Maintain target billable goals.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and team.
• Study gas system designs.
• Other duties as assigned.
