Job summary

GE Vernova in Houston, TX is seeking a Turbine Technician to perform assembly, disassembly, test, prep, or de-prep of LM6000, LM2500 and LMS100 gas turbine engines and accessories in accordance with technical specs and standard work.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 2 years of experience with gas turbines or 1 year at Jport facility, and the ability to read/communicate in English and lift 40 lbs; a safety-first mindset and precise workmanship are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working on Gas Turbine or Aircraft Engine Services or 1-year experience as Turbine Technician at Jport facility.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routing of engine hardware, assemblies and material per procedures.
• Inspect gas turbine engines and components for serviceability per specs/manuals.
• Document discrepancies and maintain records per QMS.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and assist in continuous improvement projects.
