Job summary

PW1531 Aero Products and Services JV, LLC is seeking a Turbine Technician to perform assembly, disassembly, inspection, and testing of aero-derivative gas turbine engines and components in accordance with technical specifications and standard work practices.

The role requires hands-on experience with LM2500/LM6000-type engines, use of precision measuring instruments, adherence to QMS documentation, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working on gas turbine or aircraft engine services, or 1 year’s experience in the capacity of a turbine technician at the Jport facility.
• Ability and willingness to read and communicate in English.
• Ability and willingness to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Route engine hardware and material in accordance with procedures.
• Inspect gas turbine engines and components for serviceability per specs and manuals.
• Record discrepancies using service manuals as reference.
• Maintain documentation of turbine assembly, disassembly, or repairs per the QMS.
• Troubleshoot in‑process problems, malfunctions, or component failures.
• Use precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools, shop equipment, and machinery as assigned.
• Uphold safety requirements and maintain a clean workspace to prevent FOD.
• Work individually and in teams to support continuous improvement projects.
• Meet production and customer needs by working required hours.
• Perform related duties as requested or assigned by Operations leadership.
