Job summary

Pacifico Energy seeks a Mechanical Engineering Manager focused on gas turbines for large-scale power projects integrating PV, BESS, and other tech. You will design turbine systems, analyze performance, and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable operation.

The role encompasses installation, commissioning oversight, maintenance planning, and project management with OEM coordination to meet aggressive schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Gas Turbine Certification, ASME) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with gas turbines for power generation.
• Experience with design, operation, maintenance, and optimization of gas turbine systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop gas turbine systems and subsystems for power generation applications.
• Analyze thermodynamic and mechanical performance to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with electrical and civil engineers to integrate turbines within the plant design.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with OEMs and lead turbine selection and project execution.
