Job summary

Soho Square Solutions is seeking a gas turbine engineer support professional to join our Indianapolis-area team. The role requires 2+ years in gas turbine support, strong root cause analysis, technical writing, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent requirement.
• Knowledge of components/systems functionality and numerical methods.
• Experience tackling complex, novel, and ambiguous tasks.
• Familiarity with in-service operation environments, regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Experience in supporting/leading cross-functional teams (specialists, suppliers, customers, partners).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety issue investigations and involvement in safety boards as defined in Safety Management Plan.
• Provide technical support to resolve queries and operational arisings.
• Lead investigations to establish root cause.
• Introduce containment and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical surveillance and audits to support product improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Develop technical content for publications/communications for OEMs, bases, and customers.
• Set reliability targets based on historical data and monitor performance.
• Identify lifecycle cost optimization opportunities and maintain Design Intent.
