Job summary

24-hour HR Process Outsourcing Incorporated in Novi, MI is seeking an Engineering Support professional to provide world-class technical support for in-service and delivered gas turbine products. You will influence maturity across the product life cycle and ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of product attributes.

You will manage safety issues, lead root-cause investigations, implement containment and corrective actions, and contribute to technical publications and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in gas turbine engineering support.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
• Experience supporting or leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage known and potential safety issues and participate in safety boards as defined in the Safety Management Plan.
• Provide technical support to help resolve technical queries and operational risks.
• Lead investigation of operational issues to establish root cause.
• Introduce containment actions and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical surveillance and quality assurance audits to support continuous product enhancement for customer satisfaction and business expectations.
• Develop the technical content of technical publications/communications including acceptance limit development.
• Set reliability targets based on historical data and monitor performance against targets.
• Predict future safety and reliability performance using failure-rate analysis and statistical techniques.
• Distribution and fly-forward analysis.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities by reviewing life cycle engineering policies and maintenance planning docs.
• Manage issues affecting Maturity, Lifecycle Cost, Reliability and Maintainability and Design Intent.
• Provide lifecycle data and modeling to support time-on-platform prediction and optimization opportunities.
