Job summary
Siemens Energy is expanding its Global Gas Turbine Engineering organization and seeks engineers across multiple disciplines to develop advanced turbomachinery technologies. You will collaborate with global teams to design, analyze, and improve gas turbine components and systems, tackling high-complexity challenges in power generation.
The role covers aerodynamics, thermal management, structural analysis, and integration across IPTs, with emphasis on reliability, emissions reduction, and fleet
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced gas turbine and turbomachinery technologies
- Perform aerodynamic, thermal, structural, vibration, combustion, and performance analyses
- Support development of compressor, turbine, combustion, and rotating equipment components
- Solve complex engineering challenges impacting fleet reliability, efficiency, durability, and emissions performance
- Partner with global engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and service organizations
- Lead technical problem-solving efforts and drive innovation across the product lifecycle
- Influence next-generation energy technologies supporting the global energy transition
