Job summary
Siemens Energy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Gas Services Engineering team in Orlando, FL. You will design and develop gas turbine, turbomachinery, and combustion components from concept through production, using CAD tools such as NX, Creo, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
You will collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and global engineers to deliver innovative, reliable solutions that advance energy transition.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design or turbomachinery.
- Proficient in CAD: NX, Creo, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
- Experience with GD&T, PMI, and engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop gas turbine, combustion, and turbomachinery components from concept through production.
- Create 3D models, PMI drawings, GD&T documentation, and engineering specifications using CAD platforms.
- Support product development, manufacturing readiness, and design improvements.
- Partner with supplier, sourcing, manufacturing, project management, and engineering teams to optimize performance, quality, and cost.
- Lead technical problem-solving efforts and drive continuous product improvements.
