Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Gas Turbine Engine Test Technician to join a team of engineers developing and certifying the next generation of engines, with ownership of the Large Altitude Chamber test facility.

You will maintain the Dyno Room, refine test plans, and model safety and continuous improvement while supporting innovative test solutions for new and existing products. 1st shift with potential changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related gas turbine engine or rig test experience or 5 years testing complex mechanical systems.
• Ability to work off-shift regularly; primarily 1st shift with possible changes depending on tests.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and improves the Dyno Room test facility to support current and future Honeywell product lines.
• Provides constructive feedback on test plans and approaches.
• Models Safety, HOS, Behaviors and Continuous Improvement.
• Applies knowledge of complex mechanical test methods to learn engine and facility systems.
• Supports team in developing solutions for new and existing products' test needs.
