Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Test Engineer II for Gas Turbine Systems in Phoenix, AZ. You will design, develop and execute advanced testing solutions across Engines & Power Systems, and own testing activities for gas turbine components.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality data—first time. You will report to the Sr Test Engineering Manager, with an in-person schedule at the Phoenix site.

Qualifications

• At least 1.5 years Engineering (Mechanical, Test, Project) and/or Test experience (hands-on).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• The ability to work off-shift (2nd and 3rd shift) on a temporary basis – Shifts may change depending on the test under execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the maintenance, repair and upgrades of various gas turbine system test facilities to maximize availability
• Support the design, fabrication and installation of test equipment into the existing test facility
• Support the planning, execution and reporting of gas turbine component and sub assembly tests
• Review and provide technical content, technical commitments, and associated cost and schedule for all proposals or change orders (internal or external).
• Coordinate with peer groups and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) regarding improvement and utilization of shared resources (people, equipment, and facilities)
• Onsite work schedule
