Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an AMRT Coatings Special Process Engineer to execute coating projects for gas turbine superalloy components and to drive lean initiatives across our services and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities include leading coating program development, ensuring process specs, and collaborating with global engineering to improve productivity and safety in a high-temperature environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• High school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing or technical fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering/manufacturing/supply chain experience.
• 2 additional years in repair or coating of high-temperature metals and superalloys; preferably gas turbine/aviation.
• Willingness and capability to travel both domestic and internationally up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to RVS and global manufacturing centers for coating process aspects.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of coating programs related to fulfillment, cost out, and NPI for Gas Turbine Technology.
• Assure all processes meet required specifications, considering quality and productivity.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, services, global engineering, MPE, design and systems engineering.
• Communicate progress to all levels of the organization.
