The role oversees DOT-driven, emergency response and mandated program work, directing crews, documentation, and safety performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of relevant utility/maintenance/operations experience.
• CA Class C License or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel using a personal vehicle.
• Ability to work on-call rotation.
• Must pass federally mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
• Desired: Bachelor's in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Leadership experience with non-represented employees preferred.
• Experience in customer service beneficial.
• Leadership experience in gas utility operations desired.

Responsibilities

• DOT-Emergency Response Only.
• Communicates goals and objectives to the work group and holds team accountable.
• Completes and maintains all work documentation and reporting.
• Develops business knowledge and technical skills of field employees; fosters teamwork.
• Ensures all paperwork and work packages are accurate.
• Ensures compliance with leak grading, L&M & Leak Survey tools per CPUC.
• Meets mandated compliance dates and regulations.
• Ensures customer needs and expectations are met with clear communication.
• Ensures safe work practices and safety metrics.
• Oversees scope, schedule and cost of work; conducts weekly meetings and trainings.
• Implements safety programs and Injury & Illness Prevention compliance.
