Job summary

UNS Electric, Inc. seeks a Gas Engineer I & II to perform gas engineering studies, validate materials, and maintain hydraulic models statewide using Synergi Gas.

You will support safety compliance with AZ and federal rules and collaborate with Right-of-Way and Land Resources teams to deliver CIP projects. Level I & II roles require 1–3 years in gas/engineering, a BS degree, and travel ability; Level II adds budgeting and advanced analyses.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ gas industry or engineering experience.
• BSME preferred; other engineering degrees considered.
• Valid AZ driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform gas engineering studies and design evaluations.
• Create hydraulic models with Synergi Gas.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state pipeline safety codes.
• Coordinate with Right-of-Way and Land Resources for projects.
• Travel within UNS territories as needed.
