Qualifikationen

• 1-3 years' experience in the gas industry or engineering field.
• BSME preferred, but other engineering degrees and experience will be considered.
• Gas utility experience or exposure preferred
• Basic knowledge of GIS/CAD applications
• Natural gas facilities construction experience preferred
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Effective time management with demonstrated ability to multi-task priorities and deliver assignments on schedule
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and to effectively participate in a team project to achieve required functionality within budget and timeframe

Aufgaben

• Assists departmental staff with GIS, pipeline design, as-built, and CIP evaluation and redesign.
• Leads efforts to meet or exceed internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Manage resources in programs relating to safety in construction and maintenance activities.
• Design and create construction drawings for Interconnects, Regulator Stations, and Large Metering Stations.
• Forecasts, prepares, and analyzes annual capital and operating budgets for the department.
• Analyses gas piping systems using Synergi Gas and recommends system improvements.
• Assist with materials standards and descriptions for gas distribution and transmission systems.
• Ensure compliance with pipeline safety codes and related regulations.
• Travel to UNSG territories as required.
