Job summary

Centric Services, Inc. is seeking a System Operations Technician to field and support emergency leak responses, high‑pressure gas operations, and SCADA/RTU maintenance across Texas facilities.

You will perform regulator station work, field install/diagnose/repair tasks, liaise with the Field Service team, and ensure compliance with TxRRC and other regulatory standards while rotating on-call duties. This role requires on-site work outdoors in varying weather and close coordination with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in the Natural Gas Industry.
• Must maintain all System Operations Technician (Field Tech IV) Operator Qualification Certifications.
• Ability to work on a rotating On‑Call Duty schedule.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Handle all City Gate/Regulator Station leak calls and troubleshoot where the leak is coming from and come to a resolution.
• Installation, maintenance, and/or replacement of all high‑pressure gas meters.
• Collaborate with the Field Service team to coordinate daily activities and ensure uninterrupted gas service.
• Inspect and certify contractor work in accordance with industry and Railroad Commission (RRC) standards.
• Perform patrols and/or Leak Surveys for Company pipelines.
• Install and program commercial AMR systems.
• Monitor and maintain high‑pressure gas stations and systems.
• Install, diagnose and repair SCADA RTU, communications and power equipment.
