Job summary

Centric Services is searching for a System Operations Technician to handle emergency leak calls, perform pipeline locates, and manage high‑pressure gas duties up to 1480 PSI. You will also complete TxRRC paperwork and install/diagnose SCADA RTU systems.

The role requires 5+ years in the natural gas industry, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Expect rotating on‑call shifts and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in the Natural Gas Industry.
• Understand local codes and regulations.
• Ability to be on a rotating schedule of On-Call Duty.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Operator Qualification Certifications.
• Handle City Gate/Regulator Station leak calls and troubleshoot.
• Install, maintenance, and/or replacement of high‑pressure gas meters.
• Coordinate daily activities with Field Service team to ensure gas service continuity.
• Inspect and certify contractor work per industry and Railroad Commission standards.
• Perform patrols and/or Leak Surveys for Company pipelines.
• Install/Program commercial AMR systems.
• Monitor and maintain high‑pressure stations and systems.
• May train other System Operation Technicians.
• Install, Diagnose and Repair SCADA RTUs and related equipment.
