Job summary

ENSTAR is seeking a Gas Supply Analyst to join our Gas Supply team in Alaska. You will monitor gas demand, analyze market data, and support forecasting and nominations systems to meet supply needs.

Responsibilities include maintaining contract records, keeping teams informed of market developments, and assisting with training materials. You will collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance and reliable service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new systems and concepts.
• 2–5 years of analytical experience, including forecasting and modeling.
• Familiarity with natural gas markets or energy industry practices.
• Valid Alaska driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle per ENSTAR policy.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain systems to monitor, review, and analyze gas demand and gas supply market.
• Support Gas Day/Gas Hour forecasting and nominations systems.
• Develop and maintain supply, storage, and transportation plans for long- and short-term needs.
• Maintain contract records and support gas supply and storage contracts administration.
• Track market news, tariffs, and regulatory filings to inform the Gas Supply team.
• Assist with training materials for daily gas forecasting and purchasing procedures.
• Provide Gas Supply support to Regulatory and Accounting teams.
• Coordinate with internal departments, gas producers, pipeline companies, and other utilities.
• Support transportation customers and monitoring for regulatory and contractual compliance.
