Job summary

ENSTAR Natural Gas seeks a professional Engineer to join the Engineering team in Alaska. You will support design, construction, operation, and maintenance of gas distribution and transmission systems, performing engineering analysis, project management, and technical support.

You will design facilities, prepare calculations and drawings, and manage projects from planning through closeout while coordinating with regulators, contractors, and operations staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• EIT designation or progress toward PE preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate natural gas distribution and transmission facilities.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Manage projects through planning, design, construction, and closeout.
• Coordinate with contractors, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance personnel.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Support long-term infrastructure planning.
