Chevron Stations Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Representative to cook, cashier, and maintain cleanliness at the Carpinteria station. Part-time and full-time shifts are available across all shifts. The role includes guest service, POS transactions, cash handling, food prep, and store promotions.

Qualifications include English proficiency, flexibility with hours, strong attention to detail, and food handling certs where required. Prior cooking/restaurant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Available to work a variety of hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise good judgement.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law (in specific locations only).
• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service. Always greet and thank customers with eye contact.
• Conduct all point-of-sale activities accurately and safely per CSI guidelines.
• Maintain cash drawer at or below maximum level; reconcile at end of shift.
• Perform regular station cleaning of indoor and outdoor areas including restrooms and pumps.
• Prepare food and hot beverages; manage ExtraMile/KKC offerings to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Actively promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy.
• Distribute goods to shelves and store areas; keep shelves full.
• Observe local laws when fueling vehicles to specified levels (where applicable).
• May perform other duties as assigned by management.
