Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to join our team and keep shelves stocked with a variety of food and grocery items. You will work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead, ensuring a smooth shopping experience for customers.

You will handle stocking duties, move products from pallets to shelves, and collaborate with leadership while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Meijer rewards employees with weekly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products

Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately

Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas

Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed

Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead

Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
