Job summary

Meijer is hiring an entry level Stocking Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service, share product knowledge and maintain organized, well-stocked shelves. You'll move products from pallets to shelves, keep back-room areas tidy, and assist customers with a friendly attitude.

This role is part of a family company committed to leadership, growth and community. Overnight shifts help prepare the store for the day ahead, with opportunities to develop through Meijer Rewards programs and advancement

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized and efficient work style.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:
