Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure shelves are stocked with a wide range of food and grocery items. As an entry-level team member, you’ll gain product knowledge, support merchandising, and help customers with a friendly attitude.

You’ll stock shelves, move products from pallets to correct locations, and work closely with leadership to keep areas on track. Overnight shifts are required to prepare the store for the day ahead, and a variety of

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized and efficient work style.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
