Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers. You will help with product placement, backroom organization, and maintaining a clean store environment while delivering friendly customer service.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, and the ability to handle physical tasks in a fast-paced retail setting. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within the Meijer family.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Pallet jacks or forklifts experience is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do
